Download the Crucible Launcher (small — about 1 MB) and extract it to any folder. No installer needed — right-click Launcher.exe and select Run as administrator.
The first time you press PLAY, the launcher downloads the full game client for you automatically — roughly 27 GB, one time only. It resumes on its own if your connection drops, so you can close it and pick up right where you left off. Every launch after that is instant, and it keeps the client patched and up to date.
Tip: right-click Launcher.exe → Properties → Compatibility → check Run this program as an administrator so you don't have to each time.

In the launcher, make sure The Crucible server is selected, type your account name and password, and click PLAY. You'll be logged in automatically — choose your class and begin your grind.
